Tell Congress: End the VA’s cruel and wasteful kitten labs!
The VA wasted over $11 million of YOUR MONEY to
purchase and kill kittens
in painful, taxpayer-funded spine-snapping, constipation, and sleep experiments. Act now and urge Congress to de-fund VA’s cat labs and make the VA adopt out the survivors!

As a constituent, I urge you to cut funding for cruel and wasteful kitten experiments at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA). I was troubled to learn from White Coat Waste Project (WCW) that since at least 2015, the VA has wasted over $8 million tax dollars to torture and kill kittens as young as 6 months old in disturbing constipation, sleep, and spinal cord experiments. Last year, Congress enacted legislation directing the VA to phase-out these tests by 2025, but action is needed now to stop this waste and abuse. Please ensure the VA ends its taxpayer-funded kitten experiments immediately.
