The COST Act will improve transparency about wasteful taxpayer-funded animal tests.

WHY IT MATTERS:

White Coat Waste Project has repeatedly exposed how taxpayer-funded animal experimenters that waste over $20 billion of your tax money each year on boondoggles like "hamster fight club", getting monkeys stoned, and dangerous bat experiments in China are violating a law requiring that they publicly disclose how much they spend.

A federal audit prompted by our report further confirmed that agencies are not even enforcing this common-sense transparency law.

Well, we believe taxpayers have the right to know how much of their money animal experimenters are wasting. So we worked with Congress to introduce the Cost Openness and Spending Transparency (COST) Act to strengthen this law.

Fill out the form below to send an email to your Members of Congress urging them to pass the COST Act!
